Student Confidentiality for Virtual Learning

The virtual NTI sessions for which Perry County students are involved at their school allows students and the teacher to interact with one another and see each other during instruction.  People in each student’s home may be able to see the other students in the group as well.  Under federal and state law and due to confidentiality and privacy rights of students in the classroom settings it is prohibited conduct for you to take photos or videos of any other student which may be seen or heard during the NTI sessions or to talk about anyone other than your child with anyone else.  To do so may be a violation of federal and state law.  If you have transmitted any images or videos of other children please delete it from your phone and remove it from any social media postings.  During NTI, we realize that parents want to show the work their students are doing; however in an effort to ensure the safety and privacy of all our students we ask that you not take pictures of other students or other student work.

Please be respectful of our students and only highlight your student through social media.
